How long after a treatment should I stay off of my lawn?
Try to stay off of your lawn for about an hour to allow the products to dry. The one hour timeframe also applies to children and pets.

How long after an application should I wait before cutting my grass?
My Greenskeeper recommends that you wait at least 24 hours before cutting your lawn.

How low should I cut my grass?
Your grass should be between 2.5 to 3 inches in height. Do not remove more than 1/3 of the grass blade in one mowing. Change patterns when mowing to prevent soil compaction.

How much should I water my lawn and how frequently?
Your lawn requires approximately 1-1 ½ inches of water per week. When watering your lawn, saturate the soil to a four inch depth. It is best to water your lawn heavily and infrequently. This will encourage deeper root growth whereas more frequent but light watering will encourage shallow root growth.
TIP: To ensure that your lawn is receiving 1-1 ½ inches of water, place a cup near the sprinkler or irrigation system and use it as a measure.

When is the best time to water my lawn?
The best time to water your lawn is early in the morning.

Do I need to water my lawn after an application?
Ideally, we recommend watering your lawn if it does not rain within 24 hours of our visit. Don’t worry if this is not possible – it will just take longer for your treatment to take effect.

Do you use granular or liquid products?
We use granular fertilizer, grub control and pre-emergent crabgrass control. We use liquid products for weed control as needed which is more environmentally friendly.

Do you call before you come out to treat my property?
Yes! My Greenskeeper will contact you the day prior to your treatment. If you prefer, we can contact you via email provided that you supply us with a current email address.

Do you have a guarantee?
Yes! My Greenskeeper guarantees your satisfaction. My Greenskeeper takes pride in providing you with the best lawn care service available. We encourage you to contact us to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. We return all calls and emails promptly.

Do I have to be home when you treat my lawn?
No, it is not necessary for you to be home. Since we are applying our treatment to your lawn we only need access to the areas scheduled to be serviced. If payment is due to us, we will leave an invoice on your front door after completing the application. You can simply send us a check in the mail or pay online with a major credit card or PayPal.

It rained after you treated my lawn. Will my treatment be effective?
Yes! In fact, moisture from rain or irrigation will enhance the results of your treatment.
