Lawn Care

We recommend our On Par program to help you achieve your goal of a greener, thicker, weed-free lawn.

Our program is a combination of lawn fertilization and weed control treatments applied throughout the course of the year. Fertilization is applied to promote and maintain turf growth, color, and density. Pre-emergent and post-emergent products are applied to eliminate crabgrass and other existing weeds and prevent new weed growth. Lime is applied once a year to correct the pH level of the soil.

The following is a detailed breakdown of the On Par program application schedule:

Early Spring (February-March):
Apply slow release fertilizer for early Spring green-up.
Apply pre-emergent crabgrass control.

Late Spring (April-June):
Apply slow release fertilizer to maintain good turf color and growth.
Apply pre-emergent crabgrass control.
Apply broadleaf weed control.

Summer (June-August):
Apply slow release fertilizer to maintain consistent turf color and density.

Early Fall (August-September):

Apply slow release fertilizer to maintain good turf color and promote deep root development.

Late Fall (October-November):
Apply slow release fertilizer to maintain turf color throughout winter and to promote root growth.
Apply broadleaf weed control.

Winter (December-early February):
Apply lime to help adjust the soil pH.
